Thank you Lance for reminding us of the need for solitude and reflection, especially during this busy time of year. If you're interested in Thomas Moore's observations, please visit http://barque.blogspot.com . It's a site devoted to Moore's work and mentions that he has written a new book about the gospels, showing the life of Jesus.

I am in a similar ministry (to pastors and Christian leaders) here in Alaska. A few years ago I was talking with one of my guests, A nationally known leader who ministry was expanding greatly and he was beginning to walk in the upper circles of christian leadership in the nation. He said it is like getting on a merry-go-round, it is very difficult to get on but 10 times harder to get off! A lot of the time the only way to get off the merry-go-round is to burnout. That is very sad. Tom

Lance,

I am so proud of you and your new ministry. I know how much I have learned from you over the past several years and the value you have brought to my own life.

Can't wait to see how many thousands of lives Replenish will change.

Lance,

I too have a burden for replenishing pastors and church leaders. Please let me know if there are opportunities to serve in this ministry in the Charlotte, NC area. Thank you.
